What is SVS Full Time?

• Sarasota Virtual School Full Time (SVS FT) is not "homeschool"...It's school from home (or wherever you have internet access).
• SVS is a free public school managed by Sarasota County Schools that is completely online.
• Full time enrollments follow the traditional school calendar.
  • Grades are posted at the end of each semester
• Students access lessons and assignments and receive assessments through the Internet. The school meets all Florida public school standards, obligations and receives a school grade along with all Florida schools.
• Students enrolled full time can earn a high school diploma upon completing their graduation requirements as set forth by the school district. 
• Students learn with teachers who are highly qualified and certified as defined by the Federal No Child Left Behind (NCLB) law, and which offers curricula and content that address State Standards.​​
• ​SVS is a completely online learning environment, in which the student and teacher are separated by time, space or both In accordance with Florida Statute 1002.45.
