Home Education is an educational choice in which parents/guardians choose to educate their children from home instead of sending them to a traditional public or private school. Families in the Home Education Program can choose from curriculum options including but not limited to:

Home Education is an educational choice in which parents/guardians choose to educate their children from home instead of sending them to a traditional public or private school. Families in the Home Education Program can choose from curriculum options including but not limited to:
- Homemade curriculum
- Home Education umbrella schools
- Home Education co-ops
- Privately purchased textbooks/materials/curriculum
- Faith-based curriculum
- Virtual course offerings
- Note: Students choosing this option are not considered "virtual school students". They are "Home Education students who choose to take virtual classes". By enrolling in Home Education, your student is not automatically enrolled in Sarasota Virtual, FLVS, or other online programs.
