Enrollment
How to Enroll in the Home Education Program:
- Speak to your school guidance counselor about all available options for your student. If you have already spoken to your school guidance counselor and you still need more information before making your decision to enroll in the Home Education Program, please contact our office. Be sure to ask your school counselor about options for re-enrolling in your brick and mortar school should you decide to leave the Home Education Program.
- Once you have made a decision to enroll in the Home Education program, your brick and mortar school must first withdraw your student from their end.
- Immediately after you withdraw from the brick and mortar school, you must complete the Intent to Homeschool form. Click on the link to download the form. Please complete the form and mail, fax, or deliver the original copy to the Office of Virtual School and Home Education located at 4748 Beneva Rd, Sarasota FL, 34231, or fax to 941-921-7902
- Upon receipt, our office will review the form for it's completion and then enter it into our system for official enrollment in the Home Education Program. Parents/guardians will either receive a confirmation letter via US Mail once the student has been officially enrolled into the Home Education Program. Until you receive the official confirmation letter, your student is not registered in the Home Education Program.
